Mechanical testing
Tensile, compression, flexure and fatigue testing of metals, polymers and composites, with raw data and a clear test report.
Mechanical testing · FEM simulation · Material data
We run static and fatigue tests on your materials and components, then turn the results into validated simulation models — so your design decisions rest on real data, not datasheet guesses.
What we do
Most labs hand you a report. We go one step further and make the data usable in your design and simulation work.
Tensile, compression, flexure and fatigue testing of metals, polymers and composites, with raw data and a clear test report.
Finite element analysis of parts and assemblies — linear, nonlinear and fatigue — with models calibrated against physical tests.
Material model parameters for your FE software, plus custom fixture and specimen design for non-standard tests.
When to call us
Independent tensile and compression tests to check incoming material.
Stress–strain curves and fitted parameters ready to load into your solver.
Cyclic testing combined with fatigue analysis of the real component.
Re-create the loading in test and simulation to find the weak point.
Capabilities
Detailed specifications will be published once the machines are installed and calibrated.
How it works
About
Spannung was founded by Gajendra, a computational and mechanical engineer who spent several years at German research institutes working on finite element methods and material modelling, after earlier industry work designing aerospace seals and rotating components.
"Spannung" is German for stress — the quantity every test and every simulation we run comes back to.
Not yet. We are a new lab and plan to apply for NABL accreditation as we grow. Until then, each report states the method followed and the calibration status of the equipment used.
Yes, where it fits our load range and fixtures. Send the specification and we will confirm feasibility before quoting.
Yes. Every report comes with the raw load–displacement data, so you can run your own analysis.
Yes. This is our core strength: we fit material parameters and validate the FE model against the measured response.
